Strawberry Patch Cottage

Strawberry Patch is one of the jewels of the NSW Blue Mountains. Now under the fastidious eye of Lorraine Allanson of Varenna fame, Strawberry Patch has been taken to a new level of luxury and absolute privacy, just a couple of minutes' walk from the many delights of Leura.

Strawberry Patch is located in a private garden and with just about all your creature comforts provided for, guests are often inclined to stay put and enjoy the warmth created by the slow combustion stove. The cottage is your own private sanctuary for your stay, whether you require one or two bedrooms. It's just perfect for one or two couples planning a romantic mid-week or weekend treat.

Rich “Magnolia “ being the master bedroom boasts an imposing queen four poster bed, whilst “Blueberry” being the second room offers a double four poster bed. Both rooms are adorned with soft plush furnishings and the finest crisp linen in readiness to aid you into a tranquil slumber.

Varenna Luxury Accommodation

The senses come alive in the NSW Blue Mountains, especially in the cooler months, and there’s nowhere better to indulge them than at historic Varenna in Leura. Every element of Varenna has been carefully considered, from the polished floor timbers to the elegant drapes and the original old wood stove in the beautifully appointed kitchen.

There are three guest rooms, each with their own theme and ambience, while remaining faithful to the period in which this home was created. There’s the dramatic “Scarlett” in which the walls are a decadent deep red and you’ll settle back in your four-poster bed into soft ivory laced sheets and a fluffy plush duvet.

A gourmet continental breakfast is supplied and you’re just 200 metres from the Leura Mall, with its fine restaurants, shops and galleries.
