Avoca Beach is a popular holiday resort and surfing destination on the Central Coast. The beach itself is lengthy, pleasant and enclosed at either end by rocky headlands. Just behind Avoca Beach is Avoca Lake where visitors can hire pedal cats in season. An art gallery lies just to the west of Avoca Beach while, to the south, is Copacabana Beach. At Copacabana's northern end is Captain Cook Lookout which offers excellent views of the coastline. There are many tour and cruise operators operating in the Avoca Beach area. Avoca Beach itself offers some excellent accommodation options.
