Information about Tomakin: Tomakin sits on the northern side of the Tomaga River estuary. A popular fishing spot, Tomakin has several beaches, including Barlings and Tomakin Cove, interspersed with rocky outcrops such as Melville Point. This area is characterised by gentle swells. There is a boat-hire service at the moorings. The area north of Tomakin has many worthy beaches and rocky headlands, including Burrewarra Point, Guerilla Bay and Rosedale. To the south of Tomakin are the Candlagan Creek estuary, Mossy Point, Broulee and Broulee Island. This area is popular with anglers, surfers, windsurfers, divers and swimmers.
