Information about Nundle:
Nundle is an old goldmining town situated amidst spectacular alpine scenery between the towering slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the Peel River. In Nundle itself are the Nundle Courthouse Museum and the Mount Misery Underground Goldmine and Gold Museum. In the area around Nundle visitors can enjoy fishing and fossicking, the old goldmining site of Bowling Alley Point, Chaffey Dam, the goldmining remnants of the former Dead Horse Mine, Hanging Rock atop the mountain range, Sheba Dams and Timor Caves to the south of Nundle.
