Information about Alpine:
Alpine is a rural region located off the Hume Highway north east of Mittagong. It is unusual as there is no village at Alpine. It is just an intensely beautiful section of the Southern Highlands which, because the area can get cold during the winter months, has been romantically named Alpine. People visit Alpine to admire the gum trees and Australian natives which abound in the area and to stay at the self-contained cottages at Little Forest Farm stay.
