Information about Robertson:
Robertson is a small, quiet village near the edge of the Southern Highlands just west of the Illawarra escarpment . Noted as the setting for the movie Babe, Robertson has, in recent years, developed a number of antique, bric-a-brac and pottery shops in the main street. A steam train can be picked up at Robertson's most distinctive and gracious building, Ranelagh House. The surrounding countryside is ideal for bushwalking thanks to the presence of Robertson Nature Reserve, Hindmarsh Lookout, Belmore Falls, Fitzroy Falls, Macquarie Pass National Park and Wingecaribee Reservoir. Fine bunkhouse accommodation is available at Robertson.
