Darwin Region Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, is ideally located with access to the famous Litchfield and Kakadu National Parks. Darwin has several international-style hotels as well as self-contained apartments. Many of these hotels have facilities for business conventions and social functions. In the suburbs of Darwin can be found a number of bed and breakfast lodges. While Darwin is the population centre the smaller surrounding settlements offer interesting rural alternatives to city accommodation. Motels are another good option in Darwin and its surroundings.
Top End
Red Centre The Red Centre region includes the gateway city of Alice Springs as well as the popular international tourist destination of Ayers Rock/Uluru. Alice Spring is well suited to the business as well as the leisure traveller with an array of international standard hotels. Motels and lodges are also available at several locations around the city. In the surroundings, several cattle stations welcome guests and provide an unforgettable insight into outback Australia. The Ayers Rock resort's five-star hotel is an outstanding base from which to explore one of Australia's wonders. Self-catering accommodation and simpler but comfortable lodge-style accommodation is also available here.
