Maleny is a charming little unspoilt township in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Located on the southern edge of the Blackall Range, Maleny has intimate bed-and-breakfast accommodation and innumerable specialty shops selling crafts, antiques and gifts. Not far from Maleny are the Mapleton Falls, in Mapleton National Park, which offer excellent views over the rainforest-clad valley. The lush tropical rainforest of Kondalilla National Park is also in the Maleny area.
