Information about Moama: Moama, the sister town to Echuca, is situated on the northern bank of the Murray River, at the state border. Moama is a popular golfing resort and summer holiday spot due to its riverside location. At Horseshoe Lagoon Reserve there are walking tracks, excellent river views, Moama slipway and Moama Wharf from whence passengers can board the paddlesteamers which ply the Murray. Also in Moama are the Moama Bridge Miniature Railway, Silverstone Go-Karts and St Anne's Winery. The Barmah and Perricoota State Forests are nearby. Visitors can enjoy fine bed-and-breakfast accommodation.
