A major highlight is the very large number of outstanding forest walks which radiate outwards from Warburton. The Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail is ideal for both walking and cycling. Warburton has an art gallery, a craft centre, a trout farm, a winery and excellent cottage accommodation. Also of high scenic value are Acheron Way and the aerial sky walk at Cement Creek. Mount Donna Buang Scenic Reserve is a popular skiing destination and a scenic area in summer.
