The Powerhouse Museum is one of Australia's largest museums and is home to an internationally renowned collection that spans social history, science, fashion, design and innovation, space, transport, and much more. Be inspired by exhibition spaces that reflect our history and achievement as well as champion the future, from award-winning local and international design to the latest developments in technology and sustainability. The Museum is an extraordinary venue for your conference, dinner, cocktail reception or product launch. From the architecturally designed Grand Foyer, to the Turbine Hall which is the shell of a power station built for Sydney's original electric tram network, the Museum's venues can accommodate up to 1,200 guests for cocktails or 250 for dinner. For conferences and presentations, there are a range of boardrooms available and three tiered theatres that will seat up to 300 guests. For a truly unique event consider a curator led tour or a private exhibition viewing.With a panel of well-known caterers available to create the perfect menu, state-of-the-art in-house technology and professional customer service, the Powerhouse Museum will ensure an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

 

CONVENIENT LOCATION

The Museum is located in Darling Harbour and a short walk from the Sydney CBD and Central Station. A connecting covered walkway links the Museum to the Paddy's Market Monorail & Light Rail Stations and the Entertainment Centre car park.
