of New South Wales has the best of both worlds.

All work and no play can be counter-productive for conferences groups. And conference groups are the perfect clientele to benefit from the Crowne Plaza Terrigal’s newest attraction. The world-class Bodhi Spa promises comprehensive medical and wellness care with the most modern spa services.
The Crowne Plaza Terrigal’s recent refurbishment, including new soft furnishings and fabrics, has reinvigorated the property. A total of 11 meeting rooms include the Grand Ballroom, capable of seating 450 people theatre-style or 400 for banquets. A dedicated Conference Services Manager is appointed to each meeting, ensuring the Crowne Plaza Terrigal's “Meetings Success” guarantee.
The latest meetings venue on the Central Coast is the Citigate Sebel Waterfront Resort The Entrance. Opened under the Citigate brand in September 2003 after an extensive refurbishment, it has 145 studio, one- or two-bedroom suites or spacious loft apartments with sitting rooms and spa baths. All have views of the ocean or Tuggerah Lake. Facilities include a heated swimming pool with swim-up bar, spa and well-equipped gymnasium.

Tranquil gatherings

Meetings facilities at the Citigate include the Tasman Ballroom, which can accommodate 290 people theatre-style or 200 for banquets. The ballroom can be divided into three smaller rooms while the 24 square metre boardroom is perfect for groups of up to 30 people.

The Bells’ On The Coast is a new venue located on the Central Coast’s Bouddi Peninsula, close to Killcare and Hardys Bay. With more than three hectares of gently sloping pastures and native bushland, The Bells’ makes a great setting for seminars and meetings of all kinds.

The Highland Room can seat up to 60 people theatre-style or 80 for cocktail receptions. The Highland Lounge and Highland Dining rooms are each 50 square metres in area, and three further rooms give flexibility for breakouts. The Bells’ evokes a graceful 1870s mansion, filled with large, comfortable lounges, classic timber furniture and a vast collection of commissioned art works and antiques. Outdoors, it’s an elegant assemblage of manicured lawns, box hedges, roses, and herbaceous borders.

Meetings By Design

For small residential corporate retreats, The Bells’ has three individually furnished and themed Cottage Suites. The Kenja Cottage Suite has subtle touches of Africa, the Oriental Cottage Suite evokes Asia in its comfort and design and the Wisteria Cottage Suite with Shower Temple is indulgence at its best.
Kims Beach Hideaway, the upmarket retreat at Toowoon Bay that’s also the perfect executive conference venue, goes from strength to strength. The former Commodores Cabin has now been recreated as Nine Beach. It’s a deluxe beach spa villa with separate bedroom and living area, and enormous marble and granite bathroom with separate double shower temple. On the private timber deck is a heated saltwater swimming pool, heated Jacuzzi and sauna.
Kims’ conference facilities cater for up to 24 people and offer all the legendary facilities and services including three buffet meals included in the tariff. As many people have discovered over the years, Kims is one of those very special accommodation experiences and shouldn’t be missed.

Bushland Retreat

Seemingly kilometres from anywhere, yet close to the Central Coast is Noonaweena, set high on a bushland ridge overlooking the Yengo National Park. With 12 accommodation rooms, Noonaweena is perfect as an exclusive-use facility. For residential meetings, the fully air-conditioned venue can handle up to 22 people; for day-use, a maximum of 65 people makes a comfortable fit.
Translated as “resting place in the bush”, Noonaweena has attracted a cross-section of Australia’s best-known blue-chip corporates. On-site facilities include a fully equipped conference room, commercial kitchen, spacious lounge area with open fire and Bose sound system, heated swimming pool, and summerhouse with barbecue and entertaining area.
Noonaweena can easily arrange bushwalking expeditions, golf, horse-riding, paintball and team-building activities.
