The home of the renowned Big Banana is just the place to hold a conference or convention. Coffs Harbour has great beaches along some 30 kilometres of coastline, a cheerful holiday resort ambience, fine cuisine and some of the best restaurants and cafes in the region, as well as a number of international-class resorts replete with large meeting spaces.

Located 550 kilometres north of Sydney and 430 kilometres south of Brisbane, Coffs Harbour is easily accessed by road. In addition, Coffs has six daily services a day to Sydney via Qantas and Virgin Blue, while Sunshine Express has daily services to Brisbane. Flight time to Sydney or Brisbane is just one hour.

The Pacific Highway north passes by such towns as Grafton, Maclean and Ballina on its way into the far north coast area. If there's a Cinderella rags-to-riches story amongst New South Wales towns, it's Byron Bay.

With its great beaches and laid-back lifestyle, Byron is immensely popular with all types of visitors. Byron Bay was named by Captain James Cook when he sailed by in 1770. There are some 37 kilometres of beach in the shire with a wide range of accommodation available.

Located just over the New South Wales border from Queensland, Byron is easily accessed by road from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

In fact, there's such a wealth of choice along New South Wales' north coast that choosing the destination is the hardest part.
