The ropes course is supervised by Optimum Experiences, a local outdoor adventure company. Conference facilities on site include four fully equipped conference rooms, with The Wentworth Room easily able to seat 300 people theatre style. The other conference rooms and three break-out rooms provide a completely flexible package. Combine this with the 45 guestrooms and Jamberoo Valley Lodge is a viable alternative for a range of customers at a very reasonable rate. The distraction-free atmosphere is enhanced by the lack of reception for mobile phones, certainly a blessing for facilitators. Then theres the food and service. Head chef Keiran Gilbert certainly has the right touch. Whether its the marinated chicken pieces or three-cheese tart for lunch; and for dinner, the fillet of barramundi with a macadamia crust on herb and potato salad with gaspacho dressing, followed by caramel cheesecake with marinated berries. The staff is experienced and friendly, treating guests as part of the family. To top it off, Jamberoo Valley Lodge is only an hours drive south of Sutherland and two and a half hours from Canberra. Nearby are the Minnamurra Rainforest and Falls, Jamberoo Recreation Park and 18 hole golf course, and all the attractions of the South Coast. |
