Riverside Theatres in Parramatta is a unique performing arts complex, providing Sydney’s west with an unparalleled multi-functional venue. Each year, the dynamic management team at Riverside, led by Robert Love, presents a year-round program of professional theatre.

Riverside is also a unique and versatile venue for any function – including conferences, meetings, banquets, product launches, lectures, exhibitions, theatrical presentations, cocktail parties and promotions.

Overlooking the Parramatta River, Riverside Theatres is situated in the Parramatta CBD, 25 kilometres west of Sydney and 40 kilometres west of Sydney Airport.

The jewel in Riverside’s crown is the Riverside Theatre, a 761 seat proscenium-arch theatre with two horseshoe balcony levels. Comfortable new seating has been installed as part of Riverside’s recent refurbishment program. The Lennox Theatre is a box-style studio space with polished wood flooring. This venue features flexible raked-seating rostra, which can be used in either theatre or cabaret-table style configuration. A smaller studio space, Rafferty’s Theatre, has flexible raked-seating rostra for up to 120 people.

Riverside’s courtyard, a flexible open-air space covered by roofing sails, is regularly used throughout the year for small concerts, circus performances and cocktail parties. The space includes an outdoor licensed bar, tables and chairs, gas-heating units, staging rostrum and lighting rig.
